ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Manager for Activation Bars, you’ll oversee the smooth operation of high-capacity bar units, ensuring fast and efficient service while maintaining an excellent guest experience. These bars serve large crowds quickly, often under pressure, so strong leadership and organizational skills are key.
You will manage a team of bar staff, supervise stock levels, monitor service quality, and liaise closely with senior management to deliver seamless festival operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and motivate your team to deliver exceptional service during peak periods.
- Monitor and maintain bar performance, ensuring speed, cleanliness, and consistency.
- Manage shift schedules, staff allocation, and break coordination.
- Communicate effectively with event and stock teams to manage deliveries and resolve issues.
- Ensure health & safety, licensing, and alcohol service compliance is upheld at all times.
- Train new staff and support team development across the event.

As a Digital Bar Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the setup, operation, and performance of digitally integrated bar units. These tech-enabled bars rely on ordering apps or self-service platforms, so tech literacy and customer focus are crucial.
You’ll support your team in maintaining smooth service while resolving technical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the setup and daily operation of digital bar points.
- Provide leadership and troubleshooting support to staff during live service.
- Monitor order flow, output, and customer satisfaction across shifts.
- Liaise with tech teams to escalate system issues when needed.
- Maintain excellent cleanliness, speed of service, and compliance standards.
